摘要

We prepared magnetic plasmonic nanocomposites, multicore MnFe2O4@SiO2@Ag magnetic nanopartides (MFA-MNPs). Their magnetic and plasmonic properties were investigated for the applications of hyperthermia and chemical detection. The experiments showed that such nanocomposites could generate heat under the AC magnetic field mainly by the Neel relaxation and are suitable as thermal seeds in magnetic hyperthermia. Moreover, these nanocomposites also possess strong photo-thermal property under near infrared laser light by their properties of surface plasmonic resonance. The measurement of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) spectra exhibited that MFA-MNPs had high sensitivity to rhodamine 6G molecules at concentration of 0.5 ppb.
