摘要

The work presents the way to determine the main physical and mechanical characteristics of photopolymerisable composite materials used for physiognomic dental obturations in dentistry. An ensemble of equipments and testing machines was used in our research: the Instron 5587 traction and compression testing machine, the Aramis 2M system for optical measurement of deformations, and appropriate holding devices for the samples. The optical measuring system also allows the experimental verifying of numerical finite element simulation method. The optical measuring system of deformations has own software able to command and control the system, as well as the data acquisition and processing. The used test samples were prepared from composite photopolymerisable materials, and were operated in similar conditions as in dentistry. The samples were subjected to a medium loading of 350-400 daN, similar to that of maximum teeth clenching in maximum intercuspiding. Suggestive graphs of strain analyze and tables are presenting the result of tests. In this work we choused to present the mechanical deformations (the elasticity modulus, the breaking pressure, the shearing angle) of the filling composites, in order to use this data in our future research.
