摘要
Distributed fiber current sensor (FCS) can be used to monitor currents at more than one point. This paper demonstrates a novel structure of fiber sensors based on series structure. The structure can realize multichannel current measurements by means of only one source and detector. In order to illustrate the performance of the FCS, a typical dual-channel experiment is presented in the paper. The experimental result shows that the structure has good linear relation between the output signal DP and current I for both channels. And the theoretical analysis also agrees with the conclusion.
