摘要

Three approaches to obtain the average total transmission error (TE) per driving or driven gear and average tooth-tooth TE are derived from the mechanical rotation characteristics at gear meshing, by the TE measuring modal using single flank rolling test method which is constructed on the rotary encoders. One pulse time domain method to analysis TE curve, aimed at its leap defects on time domain, is proposed to make the spectral conversion and analysis possible. The deviations and the frequencies of various cyclical compositions are obtained through the simulation curves via the three TE algorithms by the pulse time spectrum analysis, including the total deviation, tooth to tooth deviation, run-out deviation and etc. The TE measuring of hypoid gears is carried out on the platform which is built on the Y9550-Type rolling tester. The measuring results in the pulse time and frequency domain showed that the approach of TE analysis is simple and reliable with high precision, and is able to isolate the revolution properties at gear meshing, which is laid the foundation for further study of the online inspecting and of the noise, vibration and harshness in gears at actual conditions.
