摘要
Bacteria and yeasts present in the leather shoes worn by diabetics were isolated by the pour plate method, and the isolates were identified using morphological and genetic methods. Results showed that in the predominant isolates there were eight species of bacteria, i.e. Bacillus cereus, B. fusiformis, B. subtilis, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Enterobacter hormaechei subsp. oharae, Mycobacterium mucogenicum, Klebsiella sp. and Acinetobacter sp. and two species of yeasts, i.e. Cryptococcus albidus and Rhodotorula mucilaginosa. These results may contribute to making shoes with antibacterial function for diabetics.
