Application of the S-Transform in Problems of Speckle Interferometry

A technique of decoding speckle interferograms based on the S-transform that consists in correction of factors that distort the computed phase profile is proposed. An experimental estimate of the error of the method in measurements of shifts is obtained. It is shown that it is possible to detect shifts of hundredths of a micrometer.
