摘要

The shielding effectiveness of rectangular metallic enclosures having thin or thick apertures in one of their walls and possibly loaded with conducting bodies is studied in detail for internal electromagnetic sources consisting of electric or magnetic dipoles. The analysis is performed through an efficient integral-equation formulation based on the Method of Moments, which makes use of several numerical tools (acceleration of the enclosure Green's function evaluation, its interpolation, possible use of entire-domain basis functions, etc...) and physically-based approximations, critically discussed. Several cases are studied and comparisons with results obtained through different full-wave commercial software confirm the accuracy of the proposed approach and its superior performance in terms of computational time and memory storage.
