By employing a triblock copolymer, poly(styrene-b-ethylene oxide-b-caprolactone) copolymer, as a structure-directing agent, a series of silica-type hybrid materials were prepared via a sol-gel method of (3-glycidyloxypropyl) trimethoxy silane and aluminum sec-butoxide.
