This paper analyze the peformance of Urban Rail Transit Station (URTS) elevator sendee facility as Phase-Type (PH) bulk sendee queuing system PH PH1∗1 1 illf .The elevator system of URTS is a kind of unique bulk sendee queuing system of which arrival inteival and sendee time distribution are of Phase-Type. the queue is individual, having single seiver (Elevator car) and of infinite capacity. Each time the elevator process specific number of passengers in the form of batch. The Quasi-Birth-Death (QBD) process programmed in MATLAB is used for computation of stationary probabilities and performance measure. The performance analysis of elevator batch sendee queuing system including mean number of passenger in the system, mean waiting time of passengers in the system, mean queue length and mean time spent in the queue for elevator sendee facility are obtained. The results of PH PH1∗1 1 illf are then compared with existing batch senive queuing models i.e.. M/M^/l/illf and D/D/l/inf for the assessment purpose. The output indicates that other queuing models always underestimate the performance measures that results in improper design of facilities at subway station. Thus this research provides a more realistic fitting distribution for passenger arrival inteival distribution and sendee time distribution of elevator sendee facility at URTS.
