摘要
Microstructures and tensile properties of metastable austenite in 0.1C-13Mn steel are investigated. Annealing of cold-rolled martensite just above A (e3) temperature ensures the stability of austenite. Microstructure mostly covered with fine-grained austenite provides an excellent balance of mechanical properties through strain-induced martensite transformation. A characteristic change of work-hardening behavior is observed with an increase of annealing temperature, which is believed to be associated with austenite stability.
