Azide-Enolate 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition as an Efficient Approach for the Synthesis of 1,5-Disubstituted 1,2,3-Triazoles from Alkyl/Aryl Azides and beta-Ketophosphonates

A simple procedure to prepare 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles efficiently from alkyl/aryl azides and beta-ketophosphonates in the presence of KOH by an azide-enolate 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition in good yields was developed.
