In the title complex, [Cu(C5H5N2O2)(C14H18N3O)(H2O)]center dot-1.33H(2)O, the Cu-II ion is coordinated in a slightly distorted square-pyramidal environment. The basal plane is formed by two N atoms from a 2-(5-ethyl-2-pyridyl-kappa N)-4-isopropyl-4-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydroxyimidazol-1-ide ligand and by one O atom and one N atom from a 5-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate ligand. The apical position is occupied by a water molecule. In the crystal structure, O-H center dot center dot center dot O, O-H center dot center dot center dot N and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds lead to a three-dimensional supramolecular network.
