In the title compound, [Zn(C24H21N7)(H2O)](C12H12NO3S)-(ClO4)center dot 2.5H(2)O, the Zn-II ion is in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry. In the crystal, N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds connect the components into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001). In addition, there are weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds.
