摘要

Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are incorporated into shape memory polyurethane (SMPU) by a transfer method, which not only endow the composites with electrical conductivity but also improve the hydrophilicity due to the polar groups on the surface of the modified CNTs. The morphological and structural properties as well as the water contact angles (WCAs) of the CNT-SMPU composites are investigated by multiple tools. Furthermore the composites exhibit multi-stimuli responsive shape memory behaviors on exposure to water and electrical stimulations, which are studied by combining the experimental measurements and modeling analysis. The findings may greatly benefit extension of the carbon and smart polymer materials in the flexible electronics and sensors fields.
