Reaction of Cu(II) salts with a combination of two different types of ligand affords an unusual %26apos;molecular wheel%26apos;, based on a cyclic array of four pyrazolate-bridged dinuclear Cu(II) units which are interconnected by bis-bidentate bridging ligands, in a hierarchical self-assembly process.
