摘要

The microstructure evolution of AZ31 magnesium alloys prepared by Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (ECAE) and its microstructure was discussed. The strong grain-refinement effect through severe plastic deformation was employed to prepare metallic materials with ultrafine microstructures. The ECAE pass dislocations generated by deformation accumulate in the coarse grain increases the fraction of finite grains with ECAE pass numbers. It was observed that grain structure are not homogeneous but mixed structure of coarse grains and fine grains.
