摘要
Data on the methods of synthesis and the reactivity of alpha-acyl lactams are described systematically and generalized. The attention is focused on the recent achievements in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and biologically active substances from alpha-acyl lactams and cyclic imines derived from the latter compounds. The bibliography includes 168 references.
