摘要
Microstructures and tensile properties of Mg-6Zn-1Y-1Ce alloy extruded in a temperature range between 300 A degrees C and 400 A degrees C were investigated. The yield strength of the material increased as the extrusion temperature decreased due to grain refinement. The yield strengths and grain sizes of extruded samples met Hall-Petch equation. The microstructure of the alloy extruded at 300 A degrees C had a bimodal grain size distribution with an average grain size of 2.7 mu m and showed a yield strength of 327 MPa with an elongation of 9%. The fine-grained microstructures were attributed to the dynamic recrystallization and the pinning effect of fine strengthening particles.
