Direct Fabrication of Tellurium/Carbon Nanocables through a Facile Solution Route

摘要

In this paper, a facile one-step solution route is designed for the fabrication of semiconductor nanocables with tellurium nanowire as core and carbon as shell (Te/C). The formation process of the Te/C nanocables was investigated. The results of the investigation and further experiments confirm that the shell thickness of the nanocables could be tailored through the controlling the experimental conditions. The as-synthesized Te/C nanocables have a functionalized shell and interesting optical properties.
