摘要
A new photochromic biindenylidenedione compound bearing two azobenzene units was synthesized and characterized by means of (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, ESI-MS and elemental analysis. The photochromic and photo-induced radical properties were investigated by means of UV-Vis and electron spin resonance spectroscopy, respectively. The results showed that the title compound exhibited photochromic behavior with good fatigue resistances both in solution and in the solid state.
