A study on control strategy of starting and shifting process for tractor AMT system

In this paper, the working principle of the system is analyzed in order to realize the automatic control of tractor automated mechanical transmission (AMT). The AMT integrated control strategy which includes starting and shifting process is designed according to the special working condition of tractor. In terms of the reliability of the automatic control, the open-loop control time sequence is put forward. The simulation model of the system and control strategy is established and the simulation analysis is done for starting and shifting process of the tractor AMT. It is shown that with using the integrated control strategy of tractor AMT, the effect of the starting and shifting process is satisfactory.
