There is limited coverage on warehousing activities that deal with dangerous substances This paper provides a novel method for determining the optimal route in transporting dangerous substances in warehousing operations This approach termed as the k-nested Generalized Traveling Salesman (GTSP) is especially useful since the transportation of hazardous materials is not handled manually, and it can be programmed into a fully automated order picking system
