摘要

Based on the dynamic characteristics of battery energy storage stations (BESS) on renewable energy (such as large wind farm and/or PV plant) based power station side to smooth the random power fluctuations, a model for analyzing and evaluating the performance of NaS based BESS is presented. According to the different requirements of power grid on output power of renewable energy and the operating constraints of battery itself, the dynamic changing-discharging control strategies and two optimizing object functions are proposed. Different evaluation indices are established for quantifying the smoothening effect from different perspectives. Dynamic programming is adopted to solve this optimization problem. Numerical results show the validity of this model. Furthermore, the optimal allocation capacity of BESS based on the dynamic performance is given.
