The confined water model of consequent landslide is put forward on the base of its hydrogeological conditions, considering the overall effect of the structural characteristics and environmental impact;It suggests that a weak weathered layer at the bottom of the sliding zone in bedding rock landslide is relatively permeable layer, the infiltration volume is increased under rainfall condition and the drainage condition of the permeable layer is changed with water impounding, the permeable layer turns into a confined aquifer layer, the stability of slope reduces severely;Formulas of confined water in three permeable layers of different shapes are deduced, it points out the relationship between the confined water and its influence factors as the permeable layer permeability, the slope angle, the rainfall and the water level. Take Qianjiangping landslide for example, its stability is discussed by using the confined water model;Numerical calculation result suggests that the confined water appears under the rainfall and water impoundment condition, the heavier the rainfall is, the higher the pressure head will be. Studies have shown that the combine effect of rainfall and water storage is greater than the geometric sum of respectively action;The confined water model of bedding landslide can provide some reference of the stability study and safety forecast of the structural rock slope.
