摘要

We expounded three development stages of gas insulation and the research situation of environment-friendly gas insulation. Moreover, we analyzed the basic physical and chemical properties of the insulating gases as well as the mechanism that carbon-carbon double bond structure of gas improves gas insulating properties, pointed out the characteristics of the influences of halogen elements on the electrical strength of gas, and proposed several environment-friendly insulating gas of potential alternative to SF6. Meanwhile, we forecast the development prospects of environment-friendly gas insulation, and theoretically analyzed c-C4F8and CF3I (two environmentally friendly gases which have the potential to replace SF6). Finally, we analyzed the current application feasibility and scope of c-C4F8and CF3I, and pointed out the further research direction.
