摘要

To provide a more effective and convenient method for visualizing the meridian point, a meridian detection and display system with the host-slave PC is developed. The host PC measures the electrical impedance on skin with multi-channel impedance detector, and the slave PC acquires the 3-Dimensional (3D)-coordinate of all electrode probes on skin using the magnetic tracker. Then, by using multi-threading technology, the host PC matches the electrical impedance of each channel with the 3D-coordinate of all probes respectively, selects some channels as the candidate channels according to the lower impedance characteristic of meridian, and uses the cost function to select the accurate meridian place from the candidate channels. Finally, the 3D-coordinate of meridian can be projected onto the 2D image which is taken from skin using camera according to the camera projection matrix H which is computed by the method of combining 'Zhang' and graphic transformation. With the moving of the electrode probe, the meridian line can be display on the 2D image of skin. The experiment results show that the detection error of impedance is less than 0.2%, and it displays the human meridian precisely and efficiently with the actual human body image in real time.
