摘要

N-butyl-N-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (PYR(14)-TFSI) ionic liquid has been used as electrolyte for high temperatures electrochemical capacitor working at 100 degrees C, in combination with microporous Carbide Derived Carbons (CDC). When the carbon pore size is in the same range as the ion size of the electrolyte, cyclic voltammograms exhibit an ideal capacitive behavior and the capacitance reaches a maximum at 130 F.g(-1). These results show that high energy density, high-temperature (100 degrees C) supercapacitors can be developed by adjusting the pore size of carbon to match the specific ionic liquid electrolyte.
