摘要
For increasing the efficiency of the energy-generating use of biomass, it is necessary to study the processes that occur on its thermal decomposition. Biofuels of different tree species (birch and spruce) and spruce wood granules were chosen as test materials. Wood fuel was studied by thermal analysis (thermogravimetric analysis), and kinetic characteristics were determined based on the Ozawa-Flynn-Wall and Friedman models. The average activation energies were obtained for different tree species, namely, 228, 226, and 192 kJ/mol for birch, spruce, and spruce pellets, respectively.
