摘要

The characteristics of the whole waveforms of magnetizing inrush current and fault differential current were analyzed. By virtue of the similarity difference between the two currents and combining the superiorities of the Hausdorff distance algorithm, a novel criterion of the transformer differential protection based on the Hausdorff distance algorithm was proposed. The Hausdorff distance between the normalized differential current sequence and standard sinusoidal wave sequence was applied to distinguish between inrush current(including symmetrical inrush current) and fault differential current(including fault differential current superimposed with inrush current). The effectiveness, rapidity and anti-interference performance of the proposed criterion were validated with simulation tests.
