摘要

Abstract
3‐Aminophenyl boronic acid (APBA) bonded on the conducting polymer layer was prepared and used for detection of saccharides through the complexation between boronic acid and diol groups of saccharide. The probe was prepared by electropolymerization of 5,2′ : 5,2′′‐terthiophene‐3′‐carboxylic acid (TTCA), followed by covalent bond formation with APBA. It provides the site for the formation of tetrahedral boronate ester on the polymer layer (pTTCA). Each surface was characterized by CV, XPS, and QCM. Results show a dynamic range between 0.9 and 9.1 µM and a detection limit of 0.49 µM for glucose. The sensor was also applied for the detection of other saccharides including galactose and mannose. The performance of the sensor was evaluated in a human saliva sample.
