For a long time middle and low voltage busbar protection has not got enough attention. Power distribution unit damage is caused by long operating time which results in decline of power supply reliability. The main cause lies in lack of a reliable and simple logic and small-investment bus protection. Current blocking fast busbar protection system is studied and improved in this paper. Related relaying equipments is tested real time using HYPERSIM simulating units. Reliability and sensitivity are proved.
