摘要

To meet the inspection need for complex tubular joints weld of offshore platform structures, a portable ultrasonic phased array inspection device is developed. The integrated device is small and portable. As designed, the device can implement different algorithm of the ultrasonic phased array inspection technology. With proposed inspection plan, the experiment of Y tubular joint model was performed in lab. Experiment results indicate that the portable ultrasonic phased array inspection device can detect and visualize the flaws on Y tubular joint weld, which are nearly consistent with the actual condition.
