摘要

In order to get forming limit curve(FLC) in forming limit diagram(FLD) more conveniently, we tried to forecast FLC with a few experiments and a kind of minimum thickness criterion combined with numerical simulation. Yield criterion of Barlat1989 was applied in forming limit simulation of three kinds of hot rolled sheet metal: QStE340TM, SAPH370 and ZStE260P. The Minimum thickness criterion was taken as a limit criterion. Good agreement between predicted FLC and experimental FLC has been achieved by knowing the experimental data under plane strain. It means if we combine the minimum thickness criterion with simulated data to derive FLC curve, only experimental data under plane strain path are needed, and that will be a very efficient way to get FLC.
