摘要

A rotating superconductor generates a magnetic field. This field is usually known as the "London moment" since a good approximation for it can be obtained by the use of the London theory. We evaluate a more accurate approximation for the field generated by a thin shell with cylindrical symmetry in the Ginzburg-Landau framework. We find that the field not only depends on the angular velocity omega, but also on three characteristic frequencies, which we denote by omega(Phi), omega(xi), and omega(kappa). The London result is valid in the regime where omega(kappa)<< omega(xi) and omega(Phi) << omega<< omega(xi).
