摘要

Hollow polysiloxane micro capsules with diameter of 200 nm were synthesized by consecutively cocondensation of bifunctional dimethyldimethoxysilane and trifunctional methyltrimethoxysilane monomers onto emulsified polydimethylsiloxane and subsequently removing the surfactant and templated-core by exposure to certain solvents. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) confirmed the formation of intact hollow capsules. AFM images indicate that the hollow polysiloxane micro capsules collapsed after dried and depositing onto the mica, which is consistent with their hollow nature.
