摘要

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) consist of small battery powered sensors with limited energy resources. Hence, how to maximize the lifetime of a network with limited energy is a key issue for wireless sensor networks. A great number of routing protocols have been proposed to prolong the lifetime and reduce the energy dissipation for WSN. Clustering is one of routing techniques to improve energy efficiency. In this paper, we propose an improved centralized energy-efficient routing protocol for WSN, which utilizes the high energy sink to divide the sensor network into many sub-region like cellular, selects the cluster head and relay node by combining sensor distance degree and residual energy. Compared with Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) and LEACH centralized (LEACH-C), simulation results show that our proposed reduces overall energy consumption and prolongs network lifetime over its comparatives.
