摘要
A rapid raise in the number of products registered through the European Union%26apos;s scheme for traditional herbal medicines was observed in the first half of last year. We analyse the medicinal plant resources of these registered products in Bulgaria. Some of these species have wide distribution and are good resources for production of these particular herbal medicines. Others have a restricted distribution or certain conservation status. These plants are an object of scientific and applied research of a number of Bulgarian scientists for their cultivation and registration specifics. The achievements in this field are discussed.
