摘要

In order to locate a known object in a noisy scene, an effective sensor and data processing method are necessary. In photon-limited image, object identification and localization became difficult, satisfied detection results cannot be achieved using traditional approach. An algorithm named Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test (GLRT) was derived for detecting known objects in a noisy scene in this paper. We used this method to evaluate the existence of tiger in photons-limited images. The simulation results show that the method based on GLRT is effectiveness in detecting and localizing a known object embedded in a background image from photon-limited observations.
