摘要
This paper presents a novel method for the synthesis of nitrate sodalite from an uncalcined, dry Al2O3-2SiO(2) gel powder at low temperature. Nitrate sodalite particles were successfully synthesized utilizing a dry-gel conversion method (DGC) and characterized by SEM, HRTEM and SAED techniques. The mechanism of formation of the nitrate sodalite and its cation exchange capacity (CEC) were studied and the experimental results indicate that the nitrate sodalite particles were composed of numerous small grains, incompletely crystallized and arranged in a spherical cage-like structure.
