Iterative roots with circuits for piecewise continuous and globally periodic maps

Given a set D of real numbers and a piecewise continuous and globally periodic map F : D -> D, we provide a description of all piecewise continuous iterative roots with circuits. We give some applications to real Mobius transformations as well as some examples for iterative roots with one single circuit and two different circuits.
