摘要

To improve the surface properties of materials, Ni alloy layer was produced on pure copper by a combination of surface mechanical attrition treatment and mechanical alloying. The microstructure of the samples fabricated by mechanical deposition was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction instruments. Mechanical properties of specimens were tested by micro-hardness tester. The experiment results indicated that nanostructured alloying layer was formed on pure copper by mechanical deposition. With the prolonging of treatment time, micro-hardness and corrosion resistance of specimens were greatly improved.
