A Highly Sensitive and Efficient Fe3O4@SiO2 Nanoparticles Chemosensor for Cu2+ Removal

摘要

The end amino group functionalized Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) were functionalized with 8-chloroacetylaminoquinoline (CAAQ) as sensitive and efficient Cu2+ chemosensor for Cu2+ removal. TEM, XRD, FTIR and AAS were applied to characterize functionalized Fe3O4@SiO2 NPs. The results showed that that Fe3O4@SiO2-CAAQ NPs displayed superparamagnetic properties, which would facilitate to recovery by magnetic separation of the Fe3O4@SiO2-CAAQ + Cu2+ from the solution.
