Updated edition of the guidelines for pain therapy in small animals %26lt;br%26gt;The %26quot;Guidelines for pain therapy in small animal practice%26quot; assist veterinarians in the optimal selection and use of pain relief measures. The guidelines are based upon current knowledge and were developed and presented in 2010 by the %26quot;Initiative tiermedizinische Schmerztherapie%26quot; (ITIS). Form and content of the compact booklet focus on the requirements of the veterinary practice. %26lt;br%26gt;As veterinary medicine is subject to constant development, the guidelines will be updated regularly. The first updated edition has just been published and can be downloaded on www.i-tis.de in the password-protected area.
