摘要

We propose a system model to analyze heterogeneous cellular networks for uplink that includes the presence of moving relays on top of suburban trains. The outage probability of both macro users and vehicular users is analyzed at various cell locations. Per-user fractional power control is considered, and the effect of cooperation via moving relays on nonvehicular users is studied. Simulation results show that moving relays can reduce the outage probability of train users by almost 50%, especially toward the cell boundary. Moving relays can also significantly reduce outage of nonvehicular boundary users, depending on the location with the help of cooperative communication.
