摘要
This article presents a design of a microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) with a compact size and wide stopband. The wide stopband is achieved by suppressing the first and second harmonic resonance frequencies. The slow-wave coupling stepped impedance resonator with cross-coupled structure is adopted to design the BPF. The two-resonator filter was fabricated with a 2.45-GHz center frequency and 0.245-GHz bandwidth using the Roger 4003C substrate. The device was simulated using the ADS design software. This device has shown a compact size and very low insertion loss.
