摘要

Global thermal and flow models of detached Bridgman method applied in CdZnTe growth are established and conducted in this paper. Under a microgravity condition, two kinds of boundary conditions on the top surface of the melt (nonslip wall and free surface) are adopted with the gap width (e) ranging from 0 similar to 1 mm, respectively. Under a gravity condition, the nonslip boundary condition on the top surface is adopted with the same range of e. The results show that under the microgravity condition, the flow is strengthened with the increase of e when the top surface is a nonslip wall. However, they show the opposite rule when the top surface is free surface. Under the gravity condition, the flow is strengthened with a larger crucible radius (r (o)). Velocity distributions on the meniscus show the similar rules in all conditions.
