摘要
In this paper we propose a novel scanning structure of direct volume CT, which adapts planar scanning and point detecting, so we called it reverse geometry volume CT. The most advantage of this scanning structure is that it can gain the complete data projections through simple machine movement. Moreover it solves many problems of other volume methods nowadays, such as the difficulty to implement scanning orbit for complete condition, Compton scatter to the flat-panel detector-based volume CT scanner, and the complicated reconstruction algorithms. In this paper we detail the geometry, demonstrate its complete condition, give a relatively simple reconstruction algorithm and present the results of computer simulation.
