摘要
In this work, a nonequilibrium dynamic model has been developed based on unsteady-state diffusion-reaction film modeling for simultaneous reactive absorption of gases. The model can predict ionic and molecular forms of all species exist in liquid phase. As a case study, simultaneous reactive absorption of ammonia and carbon dioxide into partially carbonated ammonia solutions was modeled. Dynamic modeling of the process leads to a system of partial differential equations, which has to be solved numerically using method of lines. For the process, conversion film parameter and carbonation ratio are presented as a pair of components absorption rate criteria. The steady-state experimental data were conducted using a pilot scale absorption column for the evaluation of the model. A comparison between the experimental data and the simulation results proves the good predictivity of the presented nonequilibrium dynamic model.
