摘要
An inversion formula is established for the recursion operator Psi of the KP hierarchy. The formula explains in part how operators {(partial derivative/partial derivative y)(i)} are cancelled each other in certain combination of Psi(i) (partial derivative/partial derivative y)(j) that is essential for generating the KP hierarchy.
