摘要

Birefringence distribution in gas-assisted injection molding(GAIM) parts was measured by polarizing microscope with Berek compensator. It is found that birefringence Δn and nθθ-nrr both show a maximum value at the outer wall of the parts and then decline near the outer wall. When the value drops to a certain point,Δn becomes nearly constant down to the gas channel, but nθθ-nrr increases toward the gas channel, which is contributed to the thermal-induced birefringence.Compared with the birefringence distribution...
